About This Item

Oxford University Press (Clarendon Press), 1971. New edition of the 1935 collection edited by Paget Toynbee and Leonard Whibley, with corrections and additions by H. W. Starr. Dark blue boards in fine condition; there is modest spotting to the top edge of the text blocks, and very slight shelf rubbing at the rightside bottom edge of the text blocks of vols 1 and 2. Internally, each volume is in fine condition, bright, fresh and crisp. The moss green paper wrappers are all in better than VG condition. All have modest sunning to the spine panels, and all are price clipped; vol 1 has very minor edgewear along the creases between spine and front/back panels, minor abrasion at the extreme top right corner of the front panel, and (very) minor rubbing at the top left corner of the back panel; vol 2 has very slight rubbing down the spine panel edges and two (extremely minor) small scuff marks; vol 3 is similar to vol 2, but with just one very minor mark on the back panel.

These three volumes together make a heavy set, weighing almost 4kg. For postage within the UK, please select the 'Express' option and the package will be sent by Parcelforce using their two working day service. For postage to destinations outside the UK, an extra charge will be necessary – please email to discuss prior to ordering.
