Portobello The Scottish Automatic Printing Coy, nd ( c 1954);. 1st edition. Intended for private circulation it conveys the deeds of the Independent Order of Good Templanders (I.O.G.T.). Hardback. 10" x 7.5". Very good condition. 52pp with Photographic frontis & many delightful caricatures in the margins by Tom Curr. Blue covers with gilt title on front & spine. " The order I.O.G.T. was formed to mark the war time wedding of the author with a dinner and that the guests were to be those who visited or had associations with the farm of Templand. This became an annual event and the minutes were kept in prose and were later transcribed into verse - the result being this book. Written in dialect. " .
