Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 8vo (247 x 162 mm). 126 pp., including half title, 2 chromolithographic plates protected by tissue guards, text illustrations, original printed wrappers bound in. Pages mostly unopened. Contemporary three-quarter morocco and marbled boards, spine with 5 raised bands and gilt lettering, marbled endpapers (extremities rubbed, joints tender). Wrappers and half title browned, except for very little browning to outer margins generally clean and crisp. Provenance: Librairie Alain Brieux (ticket loosely inserted), James Tait Goodrich.
