New York: Italian-American Labor Council, 1942. 76p., staplebound pamphlet, very good. The organization was founded ten days after Mussolini's declaration of war against the United States. Its first major action was to lobby against the inclusions of Italian-Americans in the enforcement of the Enemy Alien Act of 1942, which had designated all German, Italian and Japanese nationals as enemy aliens. The organization later split in 1943 between anti-Communist and Communist-accepting factions.
