About This Item
N.p.: N.p., n.y.. Paperback. 8vo. Wrappers. 40pp. Very good. Moderate, even age toning throughout; minor binding traces; lacks outer title page. First edition. Interesting, detailed comparison and contrast of the views of Whig candidate Winfield Scott and Democratic candidate Franklin Pierce on issues of the day -- slavery, of course, prominent among them. Undated, but 1852. Truly the 19th century version of a television debate, minus makeup and "photo ops." MILES 321. SABIN 16179.
