"Sans conte, ni legende." Filigranes Editions; Paris, FR; Editions Hors'champs; Rabat, MA, 2004. French and Arabic languages. Softcover. Text and full-color and black and white photographs. 72 pages. Text clean. Some soiling of covers. Wear evident on covers. Very Good. ISBN: 9782914381970."The mazaag has accompanied me since I traveled through Morocco to carry out this work. From a family photograph, "of my adopted family," I wanted to explore Moroccan family albums. These families from all social classes have entrusted me with their memories, their secrets; their pictures. I listened to stories for hours. Over the course of pages heavy with images; I photographed. The diptychs include, attached to the black and white image, a fragment of a color photograph. It represents snippets of excerpts from my travel diary. It retraces the intimacy of the “witness place” of my meeting with my model.
