The damming of streams of course important to mill owners in the nineteenth century.1972 facsimile reprint of the rare 1881 edition. Ex-library: only marks being blacked out library stamp on top edge and label on spine. Corners are lightly bumped; wear to corners and extremities of spine (just to board at few places). Minor soiling to bottom right-hand of pages. Missing rear free endpaper. Still, a decent copy with sound hinges and unmarked pages.. Reprint. Hard Cover. Collectible-Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Maroon Cloth-Covered Boards.
