Maj. Gen. G. K. Warren, MAJ. of Engrs. U.S.A. Soundings taken Aug. 26, 1867 and Aug. 30, 1867. Size of map: 20"x19". Second foldout has no title. "Diagram" of Mississippi River with lettering showing "Island", "Bottom covered with trees", "Road from Ferry", "Stone Building" and "Cemetery". Paragraph in document explains it as "Four places where the bridge might be judiciously located." Disbound. String-tied. Front/back page loose but intact. Otherwise document is Very Good.
