London: Henry Renshaw, 1857. First edition. Embossed boards. Good -. 8vo. Embossed dark green boards, gilt titles to spine. xii, 324 + ads. Previous owner's name Kath(?) Brigstocke in Victorian hand to flyleaf. Worn to spine ends, with small loss, boards have suffered some water damage with bubbling to overlay to front and back, front gutter cracked, binding cocked. The water damage does not penetrate to text block. Binding still firm and holding, and internally, pages are clean and free of marks or foxing.
