I had this copy signed for one of my book-collecting customers years ago when I was out drinking with Styron in New York City. I am now settling my former customer's estate. I was drinking with Styron but then realized my parking situation on the street may not be legal. I went out and my car was jacked up and ready to be towed. I actually pleaded and begged on the street with the tow-truck operator- and he eventually lowered the car and let me go!! A crowd had gathered on the street to witness the whole scene. I parked elsewhere and then went back to Styron and some other friends- all astonished at what had happened. Fine; minor wear (crease down front flap; price-clipped) d/j. $125.00.
