HC has very light edgewear, quite clean, appears to be ex-library although most markings have been removed. Tape marks on cover and tape marks & light peeling inside cover (where tape was removed). Pocket removed from rear. Only library markings are a light stamp upper edge of pages & a small stamp on title page. Interior pages clean & tight otherwise, couple of earmarks. DJ has edgewear and several small tears/chips, tanning to edges, small peeled area on spine, light soiling, price clipped. 187 pages. "Second in the "Spider" Scott series. The body they dragged out of the Thames had belonged to a friend of Spider's. He appeared to have struggled a bit before he died - but with that block of concrete around his ankles, it wouldn't have helped him much. ; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall .
