The former owner made light horizontal marks or small check marks with a pencil in the margins on about 30 pages. There are occasional comments or notes written in pencil in the margins on a few pages as well. Not obtrusive. The former owner was a long-time scholar of the history of religion and comparative religions. ; 546 pages .
