DJ extremities sunned and lightly worn, tape stains (apparently from an adjacent book) on front panel, Dover Publications sticker on front flap; in Brodart archival cover. According to the DJ, "the twelve-note method of composition is described, with numerous examples, by a former pupil and teaching assistant of Schoenberg, who commenced this work in collaboration with the composer himself, a partnership broken only by the latter's death. The book contains many of Schoenberg's utterances and letters to Rufer." Shipping weight 2 lbs.. 3rd Ed. . Near Fine/VG. 22½ X 14½ cm.
