New York: George D. Sproul, 1899. Limited. hardcover. fine. Edited by Charlotte Porter and Helen Clarke. 12 volumes, each with a handsome frontispiece and some other plates, all in two states. Thick 8vos, beautifully bound by Trautz-Bauzonnet in contemporary full red morocco with ornate gilt-decorated covers and spines with raised bands; gilt-stamped leather doublures and watered silk endpapers, uncut edges, top edge gilt. New York: George D. Sproul, 1899. The Connoisseurs Edition, number 37 of only 45 numbered copies signed by the Sproul, Porter & Clarke. Two volumes have very minor repair at spine ends but otherwise a fine set in a superior binding, with largely unopened pages.<br/> <br/>
