Introduction by Alexander Woollcott and illustrations by John Tenniel. In original unclipped jacket with price sticker above price. Rubbing and creasing at edges with some chipping. In protective sheet. Blue cloth over boards with gilded device on front and gilded lettering between light blue lines and device on spine. Generally very good with some rubbing to rear, just beginning signs of corner fraying, and bumped head of spine. Signature in marker and pencil note on ffep. The interior is clean and clear.
