London: G Bell and Sons, 1926. Leather. Fine. 8" by 5". None. A copy of 'The Complete Works of Charles Stuart Calverley'. 'With a biography notice by Sir Walter J. Sendall'. Includes a frontispiece of the author. Charles Stuary Calverley was a popular English poet and wit. He is probably best known for his poem 'Ode to Tobacco' which is on a bronze plaque in Rose Crescent, Cambridge. In a half calf binding with cloth boards. Externally, in excellent condition with just minor shelfwear only. Internally, firmly bound, very bright and clean with just some spotting to the text block edge encroaching on the margins. Fine
