Volumes 1 - 24 An almost complete set, only missing Volume 25 A Sappho of Green Springs, The Four Guardians of Lagrange & Peter Schroede. This Argonaut Edition was published under special arrangement with Houghton Mifflin.
The green cloth cover boards are imprinted with a pine tree and the spine has the same imprint with gilt lettering for the author and title. Shelf wear is evident with some spine and corner bumping. The frontispiece of each book is illustrated with a black & white photo. The binding is intact and secure. Three volumes have a cracked front gutter - Vol. VI Barker's Luck & In A Hollow of the Hills, Vol. XIV Tales of Trail and Town, Vol. XXI Sally Dows & Phyllis of the Sierras The text block is clean, clear and unmarked with mild age toning. Heavy set that may require extra shipping.
