Quarto, lavender cloth covered boards with silver and black titles and spine titles. 330pp. Very generously illustrated throughout with hundreds of black and white photographs, movie stills and production photographs. With a lengthy analysis and commentary by Herman G. Weinberg recreating the profligate production of this monumental work on late Austro-Hungarian Empire in Vienna and the stages of its reduction from 2000 reels to a couple of "hacked" versions. A very tight, clean, fresh, brigh, unmarkedt volume with bright silver titles in a clean, tight, bright dust jacket with a couple of nicks to rear top edge and a bit of lamination separation just along part of the top front edge. Fine in a very good plus to near fine dust jacket..
