Lovely edition from 1994 that contains both "Winnie the Pooh" (1926) & "The House at Pooh Corner" (1928), with the original, beloved illustrations of E. H. Shepard now rendered in full color. In 344 pages + unpaginated map of the "100 Aker Wood" in rear pages. Blue ribbon attached to mark your place as you read with your child. Hardcover small quarto (8" x 10.25") had light blue cloth-covered boards with a gilt image of Pooh to front/gilt lettering to spine. Condition is VG: extremely clean, with bright white pages, unmarked save for old gift inscription to ffep & child's name in "This Book Belongs to box." Binding is tight & square, but rear hinge is cracked. about 4 pages were dogeared & uncreased. Rubbing to both upper & lower extremities, bumped corners. the unclipped DJ is Near Fine, protected under clear mylar cover by previous owner: bright & colorful with just a hint of edgewear at both ends of spine. very faint remnants of marker where someone tried to cross out bar code on back.
