National Radio Institute. Washington, DC, 1922 Book size about 6 1/2 by 9 inches with some 656 pages. Bound in black cloth over heavy boards with gilt spine lettering. All edges with a publisher applied red stain. Illustrated with numerous photos, drawings and schematics. Book consists of several radio courses and radio/battery information. These were originally separately issued pamphlets and are here all bound together in a hard back book--mostly published by the National Radio Institute of Washington, D.C. Courses are: RADIO QUIZ BOOK--New Rating Radio Operators' License Examinations--260 Practical Questions With Answers/With 92 Illustrations on Commercial Radio Operating; RADIO TELEGRAPHY--Complete course of lessons in 14 Parts (This course takes up a large portion of the book); COMPLETE COURSE IN RADIO TELEPHONY--Total of eight Parts; Section titled TOPICS which gives much general information relating to various aspects of radio as a business; Pamphlet published by the Burgess Battery Company, Chicago, titled 'HOW LONG WILL MY B BATTERIES LAST'. Nearly all dated 1922 to 1924. Very scarce early book on the radio business. Occasional penciling to some pamphlets; lower corners bumped; spine sunned. A solid, tight, clean book.
