Professionally recased with full brown polished calf and debossed decorative dentelles as well as gilt rule; 5 raised bands and gilt particulars to spine. All edges gilt. Illustrated with many black and white hors texte plates and illustrations throughout text. Occasional spotting throughout, primarily to plates.
