About This Item
Lipsiae/Leipzig: Tauchnitz (Nova Editio Stereotypa), 1829. First, thus ?. Hardcover. Good Plus. Small, 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches, half leather binding, which appear contemporary with the date of publication. Visible light edge wear and scuffing to the binding; red spine label with gilt title still bright. Well bound, both covers firmly attached. Former ownership names, dates, etc. on the front flyleaf. About 90 pages have active pencil notation/translation of words throughout, and it is interesting to note, that these pages tend to be the ones that are discolored (age), balance of text generally bright (clean); one page has 1 inch tear at the fore-edge. No other faults to note. 312 pages. Inquires welcome, scans of book available for viewing.
