Laid-In is the publisher's note concerning the background of Paine: corset maker, tobacconist, schoolmaster, etc. This book contains the classics, one of which in 1770s sold thousands of copies, encouraging colonolists to revolt agains England. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
