Large octavo, [xiv], 290, 65 ('the facsimile of the original handwritten manuscript of Liber AL'), 26 (index) pages with 2 full-page colour illustrations. Gilt-decorated red cloth slightly rubbed at the extremities; a near-fine copy with the dustwrapper a little sunned, marked and chipped (these minor blemishes are confined mainly to the spine). This book 'introduces a new series of "The Equinox" ... released under the auspices of Marcelo Motta, the current Praemonstrator ... It is the first book to bear the Imprimatur of the Order since the publication of Liber Aleph in 1962' (dustwrapper blurb).
