This book contains Volumes One and Two of Prospero Fagnani's commentaries on the Decretals of Pope Gregory IX. The Decretals were issued by Pope Gregory in the year 1230, and were an attempt to modernize Canon Law, and this book contains the first two volumes of Fagnani's interpretations of those Decretals. This book is in fair condition on the outside, with significant wear on the original leather binding. The book is in good condition on the inside, with the binding tight and all pages clean and readable.This book will make a fine addition to the library of either the religious scholar, the Catholic historian, or the collector of rare books.
