Boston: Little, Brown, 1956. Hardcover. Good/Fair. First edition. Good only with paper remnants on the front and rear pastedowns from the dust jacket being glued in, black marks along the top and bottom of the boards from an old plastic cover, the spine cocked, and the gutter neatly repaired, in a fair only dust jacket with creases, sunning to the spine, and the flaps partially torn from being glued to the book. Inscribed by the author to Jean and Walter Kerr. Walter Kerr won the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 1978 and Jean Kerr wrote the 1957 best selling collection of essays *Please Don't Eat the Daisies*. Together, the married couple wrote the book for the 1958 Tony Award winning musical, *Goldilocks*. A nice association.
