WWII American Brigadier General who has been at the Pentagon behind a desk for years, now is at front-line action between American and German armored units. "Clear that road! This is Combat Command B and we're going through to Rigny if we have to shoot you out of the way!" A surprise attack from the Germans had crumpled Allied defense lines. Panicky, confused, the troops retreated.except for Combat Command B. They had their orders: "Get to Rigny and hold it - at all cost!" 220 pages. Rear cover is white but looks dirty. 1/4" closed tear on front cover bottom edge. Spine has a 2" crease down it. Rear cover bottom left corner has a 1/2" crease across it. The first 2 pages have a light brown 1/2" circular stain. Some light rubbing on top & bottom & edges of spine, and 4 outside corner tips..
