Measures 19 3/4" x 25 5/8"<br/> <br/> This lavish print depicts Christopher Columbus kneeling before King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella after his return from America. He is accompanied by several Native Americans in traditional clothes and feathered headdresses, bearing bows and arrows and a hawk. The title of the engraving is written in both English and German. Published by H. Schile, and printed by G. Schlegel in 1870. Chips and repairs to lower margin; small tear to right margin, not affecting the image. Scarce. LIC 89708602.<br/> <br/>
