Brown cloth-covered boards; brown design and titles on front. 8vo. A large and heavy volume requiring an additional charge for overseas delivery. Sun-faded spine, rubbed spine ends. Bumped bottom edges and corners; cloth wearing through at corners. Single bump to front board at top; cloth cracked. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges starting to tan and fox. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Foxing to pages; does not affect plates. Internally neat and tight. Examines every quarter of the city in finding intimate touches of her ancient greatness. Introduction by Douglas Sladen and an essay by the artist.
