London: John Murray, 1858. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. A fine copy, recently rebound in plain blue cloth with gilt-stamped titles spine. New endpapers, original fly leaf then running as called for - xvi + 408 + 302, lacking errata. Evidence that the copy was minimally trimmed but no loss to any plates or text. Pity not in original binding as the internals are the nicest we've seen of this influential work.
