JAMES EARL “JIMMY” CARTER (1924-). Carter was the Thirty-Ninth President. Photograph. 8.5” x 11”. A photograph signed “Best wishes, Jimmy Carter & Rosalyn Carter”. President Jimmy Carter wrote the note and his signature, and First Lady Rosalyn Carter signed her name. The photograph is in color and shows them sitting in the Oval Office. Rosalyn Carter is sitting on a chair, and President Carter is sitting on the arm of the chair with his hand on his wife’s shoulder. They are both smiling at the camera. Though there is no date, it was clearly taken during his presidency. The photograph is printed on thick cardstock and is in fine condition.
