Pretty engraved vignette repeated to title page of each volume, plus the odd chapter head vignette in occasional volumes.. Good+. Contemporaneous full tree calf. Upper board joints to 4 volumes cracked, lower board joint to 3 volumes are also cracked and occasional slight cracking to the heads and tails of other joints but all boards are held very tight and solid by strong bands. The lettered calf tiles to the spines are all missing. Very pretty gilt tooling to all spines. Slight chipping to head and tails of spines and light rubbing to edges. Corners rubbed. The odd spot of foxing here and there throughout.
