She was born fortunate and she was well-educated by several governesses and was set apart from other children. She owned a number of pets and wet on holidays and vacations in Scotland and the Lake District, and she got attracted to nature and landscape, which she would always look at and create paintings. She wrote probably about 30 books, the most famous are her 24 children?s tales. Her books had many versions and retold in song, film, ballet, and animation, and her life was portrayed in both film and television.
