Vol. 1 is signed in ink and has an engraved frontis portrait, all vols. t.e.g., some light soiling and bumping to boards, glue toning to paste downs and front blanks of a few vols., age-toning to text, dealer penciling to vol. 1 paste-down, otherwise (and in spite of) a very nice copy of this rare signed set.
