James T. Farrell (born 1904 - 1979) was an American novelis, poet,t and short-story writer known for his realistic portraits of the lower-middle-class Irish in Chicago, drawn from his own experiences. He is most remembered for the Studs Lonigan trilogy, His Collected Poems are Uncommon--especially in such Fine condition. Solid, tight copy with minimal age-toning. The dust jacket is bright and clean with very slight wear around the upper edges.
