No edition statement but verso of t.p. gives copyright date of 1920: if not first edition then an early printing. 316 p., neatly opened, clean and unmarked anywhere; paper strong though mildly age-toned; binding firm; in absence of d.j. the sepia colored boards with still clear gilt lettering on spine have lightly bumped corners, slight rubbing at crown and foot of spine.
