Light rubbing to the extremities, pencil underlining and marginal notes in the Republic chapter, the rest of the text is clean. Mild damp ripple along the top margins does not affect the text, previous owner's label on the front endpaper. The jacket has minor chips and creases mainly at the upper and lower edges.
