Le volume IV presente trente-deux manuscrits en caracteres hebraiques portant des indications de date de 1144 a 1200 (mss 70 a 101). Il a ete redige selon les memes regles que les trois volumes precedents des Codices. Les bibliotheques ou sont conserves la plupart des manuscrits de ce tome restent encore celles ou se trouvent les nombreux fragments provenant des guenizot du Moyen-Orient, et tout particulierement celles du Caire : a Saint-Petersbourg, la Bibliotheque nationale de Russie : douze manuscrits ; C et partie de D) ; a Oxford, Bodleian Library : sept manuscrits (mss 73, 75, 76, 78, 89, 94 et le manuscrit ci-dessus mentionne note 3) ; a Cambridge, University Library, deux manuscrits (mss 74 et 90) ; a Paris, la Bibliotheque de l?Alliance israelite universelle : deux manuscrits (ms. 83 et partie de 96) ; a Paris toujours, la Collection Mosseri egalement deux manuscrits (partie de 96 et B), a Londres, la British Library (ms. 72 et partie de D). Les manuscrits provenant d?Europe chretienne sont conserves dans des bibliotheques anciennement constituees (ou ont recemment change de main) : Milan, Biblioteca Ambrosiana (ms. 71 ), Florence, Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale (ms. 79) ; Hambourg, Staats-und Universitatbibliothek (ms. 81) ; Londres, British Library (ms. 84), Londres, Valmadona Trust Library (ms. 85) ; Bologne, Biblioteca Universitaria (ms. 91) Paris, Bibliotheque nationale de France (ms. 95), et aussi la Bibliotheque universitaire de Toronto (ms. E). La part prise par les codices europeens conserves en leur entier ou presque avait commence dans le tome II ; ici, elle augmente et, apres 1250, ces manuscrits seront les plus nombreux. Bien qu?ils ne soient pas representatifs de leur epoque, nos manuscrits dates donnent des indices forts des changements qui se produisirent dans l?histoire des textes et des mentalites durant la seconde partie du XIIe siecle. Les nouvelles tendances se voient aussi dans l?aspect exterieur, codicologique, des manuscrits. L?arrivee des manuscrits europeens change ?« la face ?» des livres en caracteres hebreux ; c?est ce que montreront plus loin les remarques codicologiques . Languages : French, Hebrew.

Terms and conditions of sale. Books are offered if unsold. The order of incoming orders will be respected strictly. Orders can be placed via e-mail (info@erik-tonen-books.be), or in writing, preferably not by telephone. The books that are offered online are not available at our bookshop at 48 Kloosterstraat. You will receive an e-mail confirming the availability of the book(s) and providing details with regard to shipment costs (we use Belgian and Dutch postal companies for the most cost-effective shipments. The indicated shipment costs have been calculated according to the rates for shipments of up to 2 kilo. We will choose the most cost-effective shipment option, depending on the weight: either letter post or parcel post. Payment must be made before delivery; ordered books will be reserved during 12 days in expectation of payment or confirmation of shipment. Payment can be made by transferring money to our Belgian bank; banktransfer IBAN BE48 4098 5839 0127 and the BIC (Bank Identifier Code)(swift) / KREDBEBB , Payment via Paypal account erik.tonen@pandora.be is also possible. Prices are net prices and free of VAT (margin arrangement) and expressed in euros. Shipment and payments costs are charged to the customer. Each shipment contains a delivery slip. Ordered books will remain our property until payment has been received. Our books are shipped in decently packaged form; The state of the books is not specified if the works are in good condtion (smaller, minor defects such as an ex libris stamp, a name on the first page, minimal wear and tear etc. are not specified, unless specifically requested). If the ordered works do not match the specified description, they may be reshipped within seven days after receipt, after prior notice.
