Atlanta: Jas. P. Harrison, 1879. First Edition. Leather bound. Poor. Octavo. [3], xxv, xxvi (blank), [1], pages 23-256, [1] Brown sheepskin leather binding. Title labels on the spine. Binding is in poor condition. The front board is detached. The spine is chipped with loss. The back cover is dry and flaking. The interior contents are clean. Association copy. Original owner's name written on the the front paste down - W. L. Calhoun May 17, 1879. W. L. Calhoun was the son of the Atlanta Civil War Mayor James Calhoun and himself elected Mayor of Atlanta in 1879. Calhoun's name is printed top of the page titled "Officer's of the City" following the title page. Another name on the right front flyleaf (Augusta Wylie King) is from a prominent Atlanta family.
