Raphael Tuck & Sons, 1900. First Edition. Trade Paperback. Poor/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Poor copy, has heavy wear to edges (chiefly to spine edge of upper wrapper); slight soiling, rubbing and browning throughout (chiefly to lower wrapper and internal edges). [16] pages (including wrappers; unpaginated). Upper wrapper title. Alphabetical rhyme (signed 'Father Tuck' at end), chiefly involving the names of animals, with appropriate pictorial representations; interior printed on 'untearable linen' (upper wrapper). Date is conjectural (not dated in book). Wear and soiling noted; illustrative matter still fairly bright and intact (upper wrapper color picture of the crowing rooster generally unaffected by chipping and/or cracking to paper, some pencil marking). Sold 'as is'.5 Color & 10 b/w Illustrations (including Upper wrapper).
