About This Item
Victoria, BC: Horsdal & Schubert. Very Good+. 1993. Paperback. 0920663192 . Signed by Author; Only slight wear to card covers ; Inscribed by author on title page. A tight solid book. B&W photographs and maps ; Trade PB; B&W Illustrations; 54 pages; "Four sturdy little vessels - the Uchuck III, the Lady Rose, the Frances Barkley and the Tyee Princess - ply the spectacular straits and inlets of the rugged west coast of British Columbia. Most of the coast is beyond roads, and the scattered residents of these remote regions, who cannot jump into the car and zip to the supermarket, depend on the coasters for their supplies. To-day's ships carry on the tradition of the Union Steamship Company and Northland Navigation, whose fleets once steamed into every cove along the coast. Their ports of call include settlements, such as Bamfield, Waglisa, Kildonan and Zeballos." .

About Ainsworth Books
Ainsworth Books was for many years a bricks and mortar store in Vancouver, BC. When we acquired the store, we moved to a location in Delta. After three years we moved the stock home and started operation as an online, by appointment only operation. I have worked with books my whole adult life and enjoy giving recommendations.
