With illustrations throughout the text by Hugh Thompson and Herbert Railton. This lovely travel book details the author's journey through Bath, Exeter, Portsmouth and more of the South of England. Prize book awarded in 1893 as indicated by the ink inscription to the first free endpapers. In full calf binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prior owner's ink inscription from 1893 to the first free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. The page are bright and clean with some occasional spotting. Very Good Indeed
