The spine a tad cocked, foxing to the edges, and toning to the boards, very good in a very good dust jacket with rubbing and edgewear including nicking to the spine ends.

The jacket is chipped and rubbed along the edges, but still mostly intact. Inscribed on the front endpaper by Marsh to Norman Pellegrini, who was the program director for WFMT, Chicago's classical music radio station. Illustrated with lots of black and white photographs. A fiftieth anniversary history and celebration of the Orchestra, including personnel lists, discography, etcetera. Marsh was the long-time music critic of the Chicago Sun-Times.. First Edition.
