Black and white photographic frontispiece showing the author and to ballet dancers. The text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper, same illustration as for frontispiece, with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. In this book the author is concerned with the flow of movement in classical ballet; " ... She explains not only how to prepare and practice steps that how each step can be used to help the interpretation of the role."  from the front fold over panel blurb. Rubbing of the book edges with some bumping to the lower book corners. Age toning of the text block edges and pages with a hint of offset tanning to the end pages.
