Fine binding/Near Fine dust jacket. 8vo.; in publisher's tan paper-covered boards, backed in brown cloth with a paper spine label; there are no marks of any kind in the book; the binding is tight and clean; previous bookstore label at the bottom of the pastedown.~~The Nevins bibliography is less than complimentary, considering the letters of General Ewell to be "few in number" and "skimpy in content".
