First edition 1st printing, Very Good to Near Fine book in Very Good jacket. Jacket was housed originally in an old style, brown-edged protector that has left traces of black residue along edges of book and jacket and end pages, book is pushed at bottom of spine and has a small, light gray spot on top of page edges; jacket is a bit wavy and heavily sun faded on spine, price of $2.75 present on front flap. This copy has been inscribed to Mary on the half title page and signed Jeanne. Scarce title in the Avalon Nurse Stories series.
