With all 112 engraved plates in beautifull handcolouring. (Plates by J. Hart, M. Hart, W. Hart and Mrs. brown, engraved by S. Watts and Wedell). A few textleaves with faint offsetting from the plates. Plates clean and fine. First edition of this highly esteemed work on Rock-Roses and their cultivated varieties. The work is prized by gardeners for its showry rose-like flowers.
