NY: Viking, 1935. Bound in red cloth with black labels (illustration on front panel). The label on the spine shows some yellowing. Illustrated by Boris Artzybasheff. 154 pp. The first edition of the author's highly acclaimed first book that won the first National Book Awards in 1935, and then was the basis for the 1964 MGM film "The Seven Faces Of Dr. Lao.". The original dust jacket states "second printing" at the top edge of the front flap of the dust jacket and shows some chipping to extremes and a faded spine. 154 pp. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good ++/Very Good +. Illus. by Boris Artzybasheff.
