Cincinnati: Morgan, Lodge, and Fisher, 1827. Original wraps. Very Good -. The February 1827 1st edition, in its original slate-gray wrappers. Includes both of the engraved tipped-in plates ( The Branch Bank [U.S. Cincinnati] and The Medical College of Ohio) AND the mounted title-label to the front panel ("Cincinnati at the Close of 1826. Population, Buildings, Commerce, Steam Boats, Manufactures, State of Society, &c. &c."). Solid and VG-, with light spotting to the panels and light chipping along the spine ends (with minor loss at the crown). A light level of forgiveable foxing --with most concentrated at the rear pastedown and endsheet-- otherwise the pages and crisp and well-preserved. 12mo, written by 2 of Cincinnati's "Attorneys and Counsellors at Law", B. Drake and E.D. Mansfield.
