Spine ends bumped, light moisture stain at the head of the spine and barely visible along the top edge of the covers. Clean interior, solid binding. Originally published in 1935, this second edition contains a considerable amount of new material. Title page in English and Chinese, Foreword in English by F.S. Drake at Hong Kong University. The remainder of the book is in Chinese. This book was published with a grant from the Harvard-Yenching Institute. Scarce with only one institutional copy located and none in the trade..
